  • Needs Alias Support!!

The desktop app needs to catch up to the great features of the web version. Lack of alias on the Mac app. Lack of Categories on the iOS app. The experience is not consistent across devices. Not good.

Superior performance. Much better than its windows conterpart (a complete MESS APP). Email, Contacts and Calendars are perfectly sinc with any Tech company. Google works very well in it.
  • It's OK. Has a MAJOR Calender Bug

The current version of Outlook for Mac OS has a major bug similar to the GMT bug from a few years ago. If you set uyp any appointment on an iOS device like your iPhone, the appointment comes over into Outlook on the Mac in UTC Time!!! Sure the display adjusts it to the right place in calendar view...but if you open it to edit...it will be HOURS off from when you think it is and then you have to start figuring out what the coirrect hours should be etc. This is a JOKE. How does Microsoft miss something this big. And yes all of my time zone settings are correct on all my machines and devices and the Office 35 Web App and admin settings. Also I know this is a bug in the Mac version because the very same appointments sync correctly through the same account to my two windows workstations. PLEASE FIX!!!!

I have to use outlook for work, which is part of what makes this so frustrating. I can't move to something else. The app is klunky, sync issues, poor design (hard to view outlook calender and my email at the same time...... something I have to do for nearly email I send) Also the app runs like a virus. If you're offline and heaven forbid you forget to turn off outlook...... you pops up over and over and will not close until you go into activity monitor and force quit it. so annoying. also the seperate notifications pop the happens.... no use the notification center just like every other app. Outlook isn't special. AND LET ME CLOSE THOSE NOTIFICATIONS without having to go into the app again. I am literally looking for a new job because I hate using outlook so much. I thought it was the stupid surface pro they forced down our throats but actually its outlook (the surface pro is awful in it's own ways but that is another story.)
  • How difficult is it to make 20 year old app?

Setting a recurring weekday meeting with no ending date makes the whole thing go into a weird state. Using the Office 360 web interface works perfectly fine. Hence switching back to the Apple provided apps. Besides, while Outlook 95 was very innovative in its day, the concept is completely dated in the world of SaaS and openly interacting individual apps.
