Description

The all-purpose developer keyboard. An iOS Keyboard for developing in any programming language directly on your iPhone or iPad. The idea behind DevKey was simple: cure the headaches with a swift and convenient method of coding on the go. High-Speed We knew that in order for DevKey to be reliable, we needed to make it quick and fluent – so that’s exactly what we did. Convenient For developers to find this Keyboard useful, we had to make sure it was convenient and straight to the point. DevKey does all of this in a single line. Compatible We made sure that DevKey was compatible with everything. Any language, any device, Universal-compatibility is our thing. Compatible with any text or code-editing app.

this the basic and the most important key in the life of developer. there is no way to define a veriable, set value for one without an equal operator. There is no way to set a function or method without an equal sign. there ia no way set property without it.. Please add that in the home screen and also add single quotes. what if you allow to set cuatom keys. and add closing brakets in press and hold buttons or with combination of shift.
  • Helpful. But I bought this for tabs, doesn't have them

    > Great features and much needed for iOS > No autocorrect so code doesnt get screwed with. > Easy access to common characters. > Convenient shortcuts for common conditionals and commands such as: if else while var let class while func Issues: > A number of duplicated keys on the different screens, which could instead be used for additional characters or common commands > No tab characters which is often needed and what I bought this hoping to get. > Shift button looks active always, the white arrow when off doesn't make sense and is confusing. Recommend a grey arrow when inactive such as the 123 or settings button Idea: If you add tab buttons, also add a setting which allows the user to select if the tab is 2 spaces, 4 spaces, or an actual tab character.

    1) Having key legends reflect shift status (lower case show lower case) would be helpful. Never mind, I stumbled on that by executing the app directly. It isn't in settings. 2) Some help with some of the non-graphic keystrokes. The key icon looks as if it should do as well, but I can't figure out how. What is the function of the other keys in that block? 3) sometimes only the top of the keyboard displays. So far, I haven't found a way to make the bottom part display from that condition.

Its great to have the <>(){},;/" on the first screen, but i still have to hit 3 buttons to get the =. I dont just use css, and basic HTML, I add attributes to my HTML, link external scripts and style sheets, program in javascript, and mess around with XML. A tab button would be nice for organization. It still saves more time than without using this keyboard, but it could be better. Thank you for creating this, it helps a lot! Ps. I did not allow the keyboard acess to all of my key strokes, and it works fine.

It's perfect to write code , try for a while with the stock keyboard and was impossible then found this and this perfect. Please keep updating the keyboard. And would be better if some things like " = *% " are in the second screen of the keyboard. Also be write if could change , for . And \ for \ holding the key pressed. Thanks for listen and thank you for the keyboard is awesome
  • Good, potentially great

ATTENTION: This app tracks keystrokes AND THAT'S O.K. because our data is being used to improve functionality, not deceive us. Don't be a cynic!
