Description

Roadtrippers is the only map built for travelers. Plan your summer road trip with friends or find an amazing place nearby you never knew existed. You're always 5 minutes away from something awesome! Discover millions of places, like local diners and quirky roadside attractions, or scenic points, national parks, and hotels. Get inspiration from our pre-made trip guides of some of the most interesting and once-in-a-lifetime routes you need to see at least once. You can use Roadtrippers for free to find these great places and come up with some big ideas. Start plotting your route with up to 7 waypoints. When you're ready to go beyond 7, you'll need to upgrade to Roadtrippers Plus, which gives you up to 150 waypoints per trip and a ton more including collaborating with friends, exclusive deals, custom map styles, and offline maps. Any trips you've saved or places you love will sync automatically across devices. Note: Content currently USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand-focused only. Continued use of GPS running in the background can decrease battery life. If you purchase Roadtrippers Plus via in-app purchase, a $6.99 (monthly plan) or $29.99 (annual plan) purchase will be applied to your iTunes account from Roadtrippers on confirmation. Subscriptions will automatically renew after one month for the monthly plan or one year for the annual plan unless canceled within 24-hours before the end of the current period. Your iTunes account will be charged for renewal at $6.99 (monthly plan) or $29.99 (annual plan) within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. You can cancel or adjust auto-renewal at any time from your iTunes account settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial will be forfeited if you purchase a subscription. • Can’t get help with big bug

I have the plus version and have a problem with the iOS version. It keeps on routing me through Memphis, a waypoint I have removed. I also cannot add another waypoint after 146 waypoints even though plus should allow for that. The ‘already subscribed’ doesn’t help either. I can also not sign up for zendesk. So that’s three problems...
  • Where is help?

Some nice features, but some things not intuitive, and can’t figure out... Where is help? Shouldn’t there be some basic help in App? For example, how do you “save a place”?

Ridiculous to charge 30.00 a year! It was fun using this app and having unlimited waypoints but someone got greedy!

Road tripping since atlases and car naps were a thing. Over 140K in road trip miles on the current vehicle. This app is a dream. Save your maps offline; add notes (we used GPS coordinates, links to articles/guides, directions to campsites and hotels, confirmation #s for each stop’s lodging and activity reservations); have easy access to customized timelines, gas pricing by MPG, total miles & hours. An essential resource.
  • What did you do to this app?

You either need to add a few more stops in the free version, or come up with a much lower priced single month plan. You took a tool that was useful and restricted it so far that it’s not really worth the bother. With this short an itinerary, you’re not much different than Trip Advisor, or at least not enough to justify the cost of the paid version.
  • Worst experience

Not only that the offline option for which I paid for does not include many regions, it only has a map without showing places. Even worse - I tired to use the navigation feature and it sent me to a random location 20 minutes north of where the place actually was. Ruined my day.

I used this app to plot out our Road Trip in July 2019. It was an amazing help. I will be traveling next week... so can’t speak for the gps or navigation... but I have high expectations. Awesome App and guide... so far.
  • Was a great app

I started planning my annual vacation only to realize you get only 7 free way points, 2 of which are already utilized. On top of that the app took forever to load items I searched for. I might pay a smaller fee for a great working app, but not this mess. How disappointing. Go back to what you had previously...don’t try and fix what’s not broken.
  • Great app, now they hose you.

Used to be free, now you have to pay to add stops to your trip. It was a wonderfully functional planning app, but they made a money grab and it hurt them.
