Roadtrippers is the only map built for travelers. Plan your summer road trip with friends or find an amazing place nearby you never knew existed. You're always 5 minutes away from something awesome! Discover millions of places, like local diners and quirky roadside attractions, or scenic points, national parks, and hotels. Get inspiration from our pre-made trip guides of some of the most interesting and once-in-a-lifetime routes you need to see at least once. You can use Roadtrippers for free to find these great places and come up with some big ideas. Start plotting your route with up to 7 waypoints. When you're ready to go beyond 7, you'll need to upgrade to Roadtrippers Plus, which gives you up to 150 waypoints per trip and a ton more including collaborating with friends, exclusive deals, custom map styles, and offline maps. Any trips you've saved or places you love will sync automatically across devices. Note: Content currently USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand-focused only. Continued use of GPS running in the background can decrease battery life. If you purchase Roadtrippers Plus via in-app purchase, a $6.99 (monthly plan) or $29.99 (annual plan) purchase will be applied to your iTunes account from Roadtrippers on confirmation. Subscriptions will automatically renew after one month for the monthly plan or one year for the annual plan unless canceled within 24-hours before the end of the current period. Your iTunes account will be charged for renewal at $6.99 (monthly plan) or $29.99 (annual plan) within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. You can cancel or adjust auto-renewal at any time from your iTunes account settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial will be forfeited if you purchase a subscription. • Worth it!

My husband and I go on a road trip every year for our wedding anniversary- we have a few destinations in mind and then sort of just, “wing it” after that- this app is amazing! I have routed our entire trip around the points of interest filter- which sorts abandoned places, monuments, photo ops, and much much more! That’s only ONE of the filters to search along your route. Another amazing feature is the pre-loaded trips- there is no planning involved you pick one and go and you can add your own stops! Upgrading was well worth it to add more stops along the way!

The concept of the app is great. Plan your trip, find cool places while you’re driving. However, I planned a 6 hour trip and mapped out a bunch of gas stations on the way (I get really nervous when my tank hits about halfway). I was near empty, and I saw that one of the gas stations I marked was super close by. So, I follow the directions to get there and right when I got to where the pin was... there was no gas station... so I looked for more nearby and it said there was one 0.5 miles away... I could make it... so I drove... followed the directions... got to the pin... AND NO GAS STATION. I used another app because I seriously needed to fill my car up... terrible. It’s either not updated or they just don’t care to fix it.

This app is awesome. I love that you can not only navigate to your destination but also find points of interest. We search for things nearby to add to our trip with nothing planned and was pleased.

This app has saved us so much time and introduced us to so many new areas. Love this app!
  • Not intuitive and hard to navigate

The phone version is horrible. The computer version is much better.

Loved it 2 years ago, really wish I didn’t have to pay so much for waypoints now..
  • Was AWESOME when it was free

The app is great, it WAS 5 stars, but they went from free to way overpriced overnight. I’d gladly pay a reasonable ONE-TIME fee to download it or unlock it, but this isn’t the type of app that people would pay an ongoing subscription for. If they eliminate the ongoing fees and charge a normal fee, I’ll change to 5 stars.

We used the Roadtripper app throughout our rv trip from Indiana to the 1 and back. It found us the best route, rest stations, nearby RV parks, and everything we needed. Love love it and will recommend!

While the app itself is great, it’s become a pay to play app. When I first used it a year or two ago, you could plan your entire trip no problem. Did the pan am express with over 100 stops. Now you have to pay if you want anything more than 5. Who uses a planner like this for a trip with only 5 stops? Developers are obviously switching the app parameters only to make you pay for it instead of improving it for the user. What a shame, was a great app....
