After downloading the app on my iPad and setting the app up on an offsite Chromebook, the iPad app had no list of computers to choose from. The instructions say to refresh the ipad app but that doesn’t work.

The app works. Make sure all network connections are made to benefit from full access.

  • Bluetooth Keyboard Not Working

The built-in keyboard lacks function keys F1-F12 and connecting a Bluetooth keyboard doesn’t help...
  • Black screen/ connection error / no support

I downloaded this and tried to used this for over 2 months. It crashes every few seconds if you can get it to connect. I think 45 seconds is the longest I’ve been connected. Majority of the time I get a black screen or I can see the screen and the screen is unresponsive. I sent several dozen “report this error” emails and never received a single response. Both devices are connected with gigabit services.
  • Browser integration ruined it

This was my go to for Remote Desktop for a long while. When Google got rid of the desktop app on Windows and forced you to use the browser it ruined everything. I could no longer even log on in most cases and as such have thrown in the towel on Google Remote. It went from working almost flawlessly to the current state of working occasionally. I guess I’ll go back to my old servers. 🤨
  • Would be 5 stars if it actually worked

CONSTANTLY getting host is offline message when host is NOT offline. Very frustrating as I am trying to us this in a classroom. It defeats the purpose when I have to go over to my computer anyway to control it. Google has a habit of not caring or providing support for their buggy products. This has been an issue since 2014. It is currently 2019. That’s WAY too long to have an issue like this lingering.

I really wish I could do this the other way around and access my phone’s screen from my computer.
