its a nice app, just wish it would integrate with uber visa debit checking account from gobank which is a green dot company. most of us uber drivers get our pay with uber visa debit card via gobank.

QBSE is actually pretty handy if your situation is very simple and you are really, really sure it always will be. And the mileage tracker is super handy (other than being a battery drainer. Suggest turning it off on weekends and holidays!) But, if you anticipate EVER needing to upgrade to Quick Books for small business (1099s, sharing access with a bookkeeper, etc.) don’t expect it to happen without basically starting over with tracking anything financial. The Intuit folks tell you it’s not a direct upgrade, but it’s actually worse than that. There is no way to export actual spreadsheets from QBSE that will help with your upgraded finance app - of any brand. Ideally, start with a new app on Jan 1 or whatever your fiscal year is. Don’t feel married to Quickbooks or Intuit, since there’s no advantage from QBSE. And, don’t expect usefully organized, bulk transactions exported from QBSE. For any use. Other than that, I did like QBSE for the first year, so a 3-star rating overall.

Started working for myself. Looked for several apps to help me teach expenses and revenue. This came free with my taxes through TurboTax. I couldn’t be happier. It is really easy to use, love the layout. Is a great tool for being self employed.

I’ve been getting the runaround from Quickbooks Self-employed like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. When you try to cancel your subscription with the app, you have to confirm it by clicking on a tiny blue links which gets blocked out of reach by a big green “Keep my subscription” button. Customer service won’t allow you to cancel it any other way. Will Be reporting this app to Apple, Consumer Affairs, and anyone else I can think of after months of getting the runaround! Didn’t expect this from such a big brand.
  • The numbers can’t be right.

The site can not properly calculate the taxes owed. Not sure if it will actually work if I pay but I’m not taking the risk.
  • Super buggy and unreliable

DO NOT PAY FOR THIS APP Interface blacks out constantly, especially when drafting an invoice, app crashes, mileage tracker is unreliable, and lots of transactions are not showing up. Do not pay for this app. -On iPhone 8, 11.4.1 and 12.3.1 EDIT: Quickbooks' solution to this problem isn't an update to fix their unusable app, it's sending me on a journey through a bunch of forums to get something to work. This is not acceptable.
  • Worth it

I do deliveries with Uber and rides with Lyft. Tracks my miles and payments. Allows me to do taxes on my own very easily and let’s me easily do deductibles. Highly recommend
  • Amazing concept - poor execution.

I want to love this app because it makes my life way easier - when it works. However , it hasn’t been working correctly all month. Kicks off my Venmo account all the time (which is the most popular platform my clients use) , then when I reconnect, does not show my recent transactions, and totally messes up my income reports. How is this useful if it has so many holes in it ? Please fix these issues because I really would like to use this app in its fully functioning form.
