I’ve been playing this game for years and love it. I don’t understand the complaints about buying items. I gain boosters by earning chests and can always eventually win each level without buying anything. It’s my favorite game!
  • A Brilliant Scam

I have loved this game for so long and as an avid player of it, I have seen the decline. These guys must be raking in the money as it is the only way you can play this game in any sort of enjoyable fashion. Minimum $25 for unlimited lives for only 6 hours. Minimal turns that make it impossible to pass the levels presented unless you have booster toys. Rockets that move in the exact opposite direction you need them to go. Once you do spend money, you magically pass the level you couldn’t pass prior after multiple attempts. There is absolutely no way this game isn’t a complete and utter scam. Don’t get sucked into it- it’s a bottomless pit. I hope someone takes them to court over it someday because it’s complete absurdity that apps can do this to the public.

They know exactly what their doing. Make it so you absolutely can’t clear the screen with the number of moves given. Use your coins to get more lives, BIG FUKKING DEAL!! THEY DON’T DO SHI@! That’s okay just spend your own money for more lives! This is one of the STUPIDEST games in the App Store!! FUK OFF BASTAR@S!!!🖕 0 stars!!! STAY AWAY IT’S A USLESS GAME!!

I was giving this game a 1 star review until I downloaded a different game that recently dropped from a big developer. While that game is fun and addictive, it frequently freezes and requires a constant connection. Toy Blast runs smoothly and has never glitched out on me. Plus, although I still miss the infinite lives, I found that Toy Blast still gives more free tools than the other game. The other game gives more coins but no free tools. However, the coins get used up on purchasing new characters. I still prefer Toy Blast. I guess that since I play mostly console games, I prefer paying for the game up front and being able to play as long as I want without these heart mechanics forcing me to wait or pay. This recent freemium micro transactions model has taken over the App Store, and it is a big bummer. For those prefer the freemium model, and there many, Toy Blast is a must! The bright graphics, cute music, and cool mechanics combined make it a highly entertaining freemium game. If you cannot afford a console or prefer the freemium model, a suggestion would be to stack about 4 or more of these freemium games on your iPhone. Then when you run out of lives on one game, just hop onto the next freemium game and keep going down the line. By the time you get to the last freemium game on your phone, you should have more lives on the first few games. This will allow for a more uninterrupted mobile gaming experience without shelling out any money. I am sure many already do this. The other option is to give Apple Arcade a try. For only $5 a month, you can play as long as you want without micro transactions and a lives mechanic forcing you to stop or pay. That is much less than what many spend to keep going on these freemium games. Once I bought a console, this latest mobile freemium model has become harder for me to tolerate. Still, I believe Toy Blast is worth a spot on my phone because it is simple and fun. When I run out, I just go back to my console. I hope Peak Games eventually drops a game like this for Apple Arcade. Despite being a freemium model, they have a winning formula that will do well on Apple Arcade.
