Slow. Also, I lost a days worth of notes, not they are just blank untitled pages. Sharing links is abominable. It's been clunky (on macOS at least) for years at this point.

Great app, Recenly made the switch to mac, I'm a data scientist and use Python and MySQL quite a bit. I recently purchased a code snippet library for my mac, but have found that I can export those snippets to OneNote. This allows me to easily have those snippets on my windows machine as well! Thanks Microsoft!
  • Its good, but has major problems

I have put in bug fix requests for this before but have never heard anything about these problems being fixed. You cannot double click and drag to highlight multiple words like you can in all other applications, includeing all other microsoft office applications. I call the other major problem "twitching." When I hovor my cursor over different lines, with different styles, the text will move a few pixels up and down. Frustrating, but these issues don't completely ruin the aplication.

There’s no better way to store and access notes. As long as you are on the latest Mac OS and OneNote software, you shouldn’t have any issues.

I’ve been using OneNote since 2014 and it’s been such a companion writing tool for me. I truly appreciate all the features (new and old) and its compatibility across all devices. I love that I can keep multiple notebooks, since I don’t want all my notes to be in the same place. OneNote has honestly just given me a lot of freedom and I treat it like a notebook. I love being able to write and highlight, along with making audio recordings directly on to the notes. This comes in handy whenever I am songwriting.

I use this app for everything. As an attorney, I use it to organize my client notes and keep track of court dates and follow up notes. As a mom I use it to organize family things (i.e., passwords, recipes, bills, etc.). Easy to use, easy to share, easy to organize everything into categories.

I am using this tool for last 6 years. I can’t think about switching to any other tool for my daily tasks and taking notes. It’s most comprehensive tool that I have ever come across. I switched from Evertnote to this one long time ago due to features gaps that evernote had it that time. Since then I hooked into it so much that I can’t almost think spending any day w/o it. It has great interface with phone app which has helped me a lot for last 6 years to take quick notes/photos. I love to go back and refresh my previous notes/experience since it helps you to organize things much better. User interface is soooo good.

powerful on sharing notes & info to others. simple operation design, no mind twicking to adapt to use it. it would be better to be able to insert program coding paragraphs with visual studio integrated.
