Another thing I really enjoy is that IXL provides awards and progress reports showing how you do over time. I think these two things are very effective because they make the student feel like they are actually studying and not wasting time.” - Student, Calgary, Alberta, Canada “This program takes the frustration out of math because it allows the student to practice at his/her own pace and stay focused. It's okay if you mark one wrong because another one will be waiting. This is a great tool to have.” - Parent of a 4th grader, California, U.S.A. “We like the rewards and certificates; our children work very hard to receive these! The reports are also brilliant in keeping us informed of the levels our children have reached and where they need extra help.” - Parent, Coolah, NSW, Australia “My students are improving by the day, and some even stay in for recess to work on IXL!” - Helm Jackson, 5th grade teacher, Redmond, Washington, U.S.A. • Good but needs some upgrades ✍🏻

I think this game is good but at the same time super boring. To start with, you might learn lots of stuff and everything but I also think that it’s kind of babyish because it has some cards that say like “Good job you just earned a boot for completing 100 skills” yes and I know the boot is not real but still. Also, I think you should add some coins every time you complete a challenge instead of getting some random cards, and with the coins you earn you can make a character or maybe earn 1 mini game for 2 minutes. Finally, I consider that this app is pretty good to learn a bunch of stuff and kids could use it in summer if they don’t have anything to do and need to learn some stuff. In conclusion, I think this app should get some upgrades for a little more fun but it’s also a great way to learn

IXL is the best it makes my brain smarter and makes think in other ways🤩🤩🤩🤩and if I get something wrong it tells me the correct answer and how that answer comes,so it’s awesome.

IXL is good because what you learn gets stuck in your brain. The reasoning behind this is because you spend a long time doing it. I once had an ixl that I answered 600 questions because it was so hard. It gets your hopes up then crushes your dreams. But after after your meltdowns while doing it. You understand it.
  • A lot of potential but lacking

I don’t want to make a long review so I’m just going to make a few points clear. The app needs to have a monitoring section when parents are signed in to track their usage. Next, I’ve sent an email suggesting that they have a customizable test feature where parents can create their own tests from a compilation of selected problems from different sections. This way we can truly gauge the students mastery instead of wondering if they’ve mastered a section just by memorizing the answers they’ve got wrong until they’ve medaled. Subscription is expensive and rightfully so. Therefore these upgrades according my suggestion would justify the cost.
  • IXL can be frustrating sometimes

I personally think IXL is a good app but sometimes it can make me really mad. There are two problems that happen and it makes me really mad. Sot he first one is when I don’t know a question, I try to answer it, but if it’s wrong, it tells you how to do it, but when your answering the question, you don’t know how to do it, so you can’t. I think that you should first add a paragraph or chart that explains how to do the question at the beginning so we know how to do it. The second thing I don’t like is, when your in the challenge zone, at 90% you only move 1 or 2 spaces if you get it correct, but if you get it wrong, You move back like 5 spaces, and then you have to keep going one question by one question in the challenge zone. I think you should go 3 spaces per question in the challenge zone. Thank you I still like the app and would give it 3 stars. I hope you can fix these mistakes that I connect with.

  • This belongs in a landfill

This stupid app belongs in a landfill because of when you get one right you add so little! Like by 90 you add by 1 and 1 and 1 and if you get one wrong? Down back to where you came! And the help is just garbage why can’t you at least provide something like a video? To help us just to do this! And it’s a subscription too! At least Khanacademy includes videos and doesn’t need a subscription you if someone asked what do you rate this? -10/10

  • Mistakes and Confirmation

Whenever I've been answering, I've realized that sometimes I had typos in my answer and there was no confirm nor "this question/answer isn't correct" button. This app is this not the best for teaching math. I typed in "6" for my answer, and it was wrong and said the right answer was "__6". There are quite a lot of mistakes in this.
