Description

HINGE, DESIGNED TO BE DELETED Hinge is the dating app for people who want to get off dating apps. And it’s working. Currently, 3 out of 4 times Hinge members want to go on a second date, we’re the #1 mobile-first dating app mentioned in the New York Times wedding section, and we’re the fastest growing dating app in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. HOW WE GET YOU OFF HINGE In today’s digital world, singles are so busy matching that they’re not actually connecting, in person, where it counts. Hinge is on a mission to change that. So we built an app that’s designed to be deleted. * We quickly learn your type. You’ll only be introduced to the best people for you. * We give you a sense of someone’s personality. You’ll get to know potential dates through their unique answers to prompts, and personal information like religion, height, and politics. * We make it easy to start a conversation. Every match begins by someone liking or commenting on a specific part of your profile. * We ask how your dates are going. After exchanging phone numbers with a Match, we’ll follow up to hear how your date went so we can make better recommendations in the future. The app is free to use. Members looking to see who likes them or to set advanced preferences can upgrade to a Preferred Membership. THE BUZZ ABOUT HINGE “Hinge’s CEO says a good dating app relies on vulnerability, not algorithms.” - Washington Post "Hinge is the first dating app to actually measure real-world success" - TechCrunch “A great option for those fed up with temporary love.” -TheNextWeb SUBSCRIPTION INFO Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period Subscriptions may be managed and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to Account Settings after purchase Support: hello@hinge.co Terms of Service: https://hinge.co/terms.html Privacy Policy: https://hinge.co/privacy.html

Horrible customer service... switched to new I phone and they said I was violating terms of service yet failed to mention what “violations” I committed. Very sketchy overall. The App itself was great though !

I found my girlfriend on Hinge. She was the second girl i met on the app. The best thing about this app is that both guys and girls actually go on dates with the people they match with(usually), and thats because they’re willing. The other apps like tinder and bumble have a lot of accounts that people make just for fun or to see whats out there. The profiles on Hinge are from people who actually want to meet someone. Good luck out there folks!

I’ve had this app(free version) for a week and haven’t even garnered 1 LIKE! I’m mean, I’m not a bad looking guy and not one of your suggested less than attractive ladies are pretty. Seems as though you all at Hinge just wanna pay to play app. My first online dating app will be my last! Goodbye!!!
  • Fake profiles are in an abundance here.

“Hinge is designed to be deleted”. That’s their logo. And they’re absolutely correct. With the abundance of fake profiles that will match with you, it’s their real users that get fed up and we delete the app. This is the 3rd time I’ve used this app and my first match is indeed a fake profile. You HAVE to google reverse image search the person when you get the match. Otherwise you could be wasting hours or days talking to someone before you find out they’re fake. Sometimes minutes. Within the first 10 minutes someone asked me for money. Uh no. Downloader beware. If I could give this app zero stars I would. Hinge really needs a way to face photo identify their users before allowing them to be put on the app.

Hinge is the only app where I've met women consistently (few bots). Without paying a dime as well. I'm very thankful, and would recommend highly to anyone.
  • Now I know why it’s designed to be deleted.

The guys on here are ugly, you get like 3 likes a day and half the time don’t get liked back. Or they don’t talk to you first. Like honestly after almost a month on this app I feel more irritated than anything. Worse than tinder.

Match, start a conversation with an icebreaker question, one or no response, delete match, rinse and repeat. The app itself is different than other dating apps and deserves credit for the different approach to online dating, but doesn’t produce results. Worth downloading for free, but don’t pay money.
  • Utter Confusion

I’m not a fan of online dating in general, but I really liked some of the privacy (no read receipts!) functions of Hinge. I like to think a bit before responding. Liked that I could be online without being seen, unlike OKC, where guys swarm when they see a green light. But this is not an app for smart NYC women. The pool is shallow - 50yo guys trying to act 30, gym rats, divorcees looking for online chats (only), never-married middle-aged mommas boys who suddenly want a kid, or rejects. Creativity? Originality? If you can find it, girl, latch onto it. If you live outside Brooklyn, though, forget it. I’m educated, fun, attractive, active. Had a few dates at first that went fine, but no spark. But now, 3 months in, I see mostly fake accounts and total mismatches. I try to play the game, update pics & prompts, but that seems to make it worse. Yet another waste of time.

Just joined, and I’ve never come across some many fakes accounts/profiles in my life. Let’s just say that this seems to be the norm with these sites/apps now, and it’s downright heartbreaking. Wow.
  • Banned for not responding?

Google this...happens all the time. Logged in to my (paid subscriber) account to find out I was banned. Ive barely had any conversations and ABSOLUTELY did not say anything offensive. And yet I got banned with no explanation or opportunity to explain or get my money back. What a joke.
