Description

HINGE, DESIGNED TO BE DELETED Hinge is the dating app for people who want to get off dating apps. And it’s working. Currently, 3 out of 4 first dates lead to second dates, we’re the #1 mobile-first dating app mentioned in the New York Times wedding section, and we’re the fastest growing dating app in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. THE BUZZ ABOUT HINGE “Hinge’s CEO says a good dating app relies on vulnerability, not algorithms.” - Washington Post "Hinge is the first dating app to actually measure real-world success" - TechCrunch “A great option for those fed up with temporary love.” -TheNextWeb HOW WE GET YOU OFF HINGE In today’s digital world, singles are so busy matching that they’re not actually connecting, in person, where it counts. Hinge is on a mission to change that. So we built an app that’s designed to be deleted. * We quickly learn your type. You'll only be introduced to the best people for you. * We give you a sense of someone’s personality. You'll get to know potential dates through their unique answers to prompts, and personal information like religion, height, and politics. * We make it easy to start a conversation. Every match begins by someone liking or commenting on a specific part of your profile. * We ask how your dates are going. After exchanging phone numbers with a Match, we’ll follow up to hear how your date went so we can make better recommendations in the future. The app is free to use. Members looking to see who likes them, set advanced preferences, or access Hinge Experts can upgrade to a Preferred Membership. • Too many inactive profiles

I had a great time using Hinge the first couple months in but the matches have been pretty slow so far. There are too many inactive profiles on the app, which leads to wasted likes and a low chance of connecting with a person. The algorithm needs to be revamped such as showing the people only active on the app in a week time frame.
  • Terrible app

This app is very money hungry. You can like about five people a day and then they ask you to make a membership. You can get more likes than that on tinder. Deleted and don’t recommend

Would be nice for people to indicate what type of relationship they are looking for. And to be able to send pics in chat. But otherwise, great app.
  • TOO MANY FAKE PROFILES!!!!

YOU GUYS NEED TO UPDATE THE APP WHERE FROM TIME TO TIME THE USER CONFIRMS WHO THEY ARE BY SUBMITTING A LIVE PHOTO THAT MATCHES THE PROFILES PICTURES THAT WERE UPLOADED. PLATFORMS SUCH AS UBER AND EVEN BUMBLE EVEN DO THIS TO AVOID SOMEONE IMPERSONATING ANOTHER PERSON. DELETED APP NOT BECAUSE I’VE FOUND “THE ONE” BUT BECAUSE THERE ARE COUNTLESS PAGES THAT ARE NOTHING BUT SPAM AND FAKE PICTURES AND TAKES AWAY THE POINT OF EVEN BEING ON.

Don’t use eharmony. Don’t use bumble. Don’t use Christian mingle. Don’t use Christian dating. This app is the best of them all. Fair price. Really unique method for messaging people. I’m very pleased with this app.

I wish you had a backtrack feature that will allow a person to retrieve a mistaken “ X “
  • Photos don’t load - terrible support

This app worked for a while, but now the photos don’t load for all the profiles, which kinda makes the app useless. I’ve repeatedly contacted support and have gotten no response, in spite of the fact that I’m a premium subscriber. Waste of money.

Now that Hinge has been transformed into another MG -Carrot Dangling Pinterest App, these times will be and should be the lowest this genre can sink. It cannot sink any lower. The entire dating app developers collectively and across the board, have nothing left to contribute to the restoration of trust and a possibility. These companies need to go because they do nothing for the genre at all. No security, no real people at all and I for one will be forever grateful to all idiots that sold out to MatchGroup as a coder when you see a door open this wide and you are actually in tune to your app, you can’t help but incorporate changes. Destroying these apps’ ability to profit from the private sector is my salivating wet dream. I will Bring down POF, OKC, Bumble, TINDER, Match, Hinge everything Match Group then I will go after the rest one by one until they are all stomped out as I draft and submit proposed regulations that will force define these particular apps as fantasy and make believe forcing them through federal regulations to be placed in another category in the App Store. Therefor leaving you with an app company that listens, pays attention and cares about Its users. Thank you all for being the definition of delete. Of course that will get blocked and will take some time and that’s when the class action lawsuit begins. Please document all bots, fake profiles for harvest and that should be enough to petition a congressional hearing where these companies have to explain themselves as we implement new reforms that will reduce them to bankruptcy status. So today we look towards a new era and just have to hold on until we can slay the lizards of the genre. Thank you for walking us in!
