  • Worst customer support

Don’t waste your time just download another app And trust me is not worth it for $12 a month, Having issue with the chargeback And There is no one to talk and nobody took responsibility for the chargeback they don’t Release the money to me or to my customer Which is bad for my business But they don’t care to solve the issue 👎🏻
  • Seriously guys??? $12 a month ???

You guys will loose a lot of customers - all my Friends including me are saying good bye to Joist on May 21. Agree, it’s an inconvenience but will copy all saved customers to a different app. You guys are greedy - wow
  • Bad customer service

Very bad customer service and the only way to contact with them is through to the email, Don’t waste your time find another app
  • Electrician

Very convenient and makes billing quick and easy.
  • Unfortunately they start charging for something they give for free before

    By edboston
I have been using this app for year and now they start charging for features that was free before, I run small bussines and also use wepay thru Joist App, I don’t think this is fear, if they charge small amount monthly its fine but $12 monthly is literally more then I expect
  • Great tool!

The right tool for the right job! Love how it streamlined my estimates and invoices. Highly recommend!!
  • 2.9% + $.30 wasn’t enough

    By Utah Tin Man
Back in 2016 I paid to unlock the app to where I could issue unlimited monthly invoices and now they want $12 a month on top of what I paid and the processing fees... Love that they take away features that have been included with the app since the beginning and now want to charge for it now! I don’t think so, I’ll be going elsewhere! Edited to respond to the developer: You’re full of BS when you state “we only recently started charging” I can pull up bank records to prove I paid to use Joist!
  • LovED this app

    By Lehr Plumbing
I have been using this app for years and I’ve gone out of my way to use the features that make a little money for the developers, but at this point I’m done. 120$ a year or $12/month is WAY too steep for the limited resource that the app provides. I would be significantly more inclined to pay if it had features like expense reports and profit calculators. These seem like easy things to add. I’m really disappointed, especially since I’ve been highly recommending this app to my contractor friends. 😔 Time to find another invoice app..
  • Used to be a great app, but......

I once wrote that Joist was exactly what I needed for managing the business side of my business. I had searched the App Store daily looking for an invoicing app that wasn’t over bloated with features I would never use. I spent hours trying to create my own. Joist was weightless. It was perfect in its simplicity. Estimates and invoices created easily. My client list and an items list of all of the materials I’ve included in an estimate or invoice safely stored and accessible to download, if necessary. I started using Joist in 2014. New features have been added over the years. I opted to use one of those features; accepting credit card and check payments through the app. After PURCHASING a credit card reader I started accepting credit cards. The card reader worked fine for a few months, then stopped reading cards. I asked the support group to send me a new reader about 6 months ago, but that never happened. I no longer accept credit cards. The newest “feature” is called Joist Pro. This new feature costs $10 per month. Basically, a few of the features that I have been using since 2014, which were part of the Joist app when I started using Joist, are now considered Pro features and are no longer free. Only 1 of these so called Pro features I use, which is my business logo. So, if I wish to continue having my logo on the estimates and invoices I create in Joist, I have to pay $10 per month to do so. I will no longer be using Joist for my estimates or invoices and I have exported all of my data, including my logo. Joist WAS a great app, but now it’s just like all the rest.
  • You Plan to make a perfect app “more robust in the future”?

    By drbizerk
Yea, I think i will write up invoices by hand. There is absolutely NO way you can make Joist $12 per month better. Lol. I was doing a little math and that will barely be enough to keep the lights on.
