Unlike other fitness apps, Strong doesn’t bog you down with distractions and unnecessary gimmicks you’d never use. Strong will automatically charge your iTunes Account at the end of your subscription or free trial period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of your current period. Subscriptions renew at the original price. You can turn off auto-renew at any time and still receive full functionality until the end of your current period, but no refund can be provided for unused portions of the subscription. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable. If you’ve previously purchased “Unlock Strong” or “Strong Combo Pack”, you’ll be able to use the Restore Purchases option in the app for access to all Strong PRO features. These prices are for customers in the United States and may vary depending on your iTunes Account settings. In-app purchases and subscriptions cannot be shared using Family Sharing. • Really great app

    By hjoshrock
Honestly, really great app. Very few exercises that it doesn’t recognize. Syncs with most devices (watches, other fitness apps.) Provides an impressive amount of control over routine creation and allows you to make on the fly adjustments to your workout. Well worth it to go pro.
  • Exactly what you need

    By smoody87
If you’re a novice Strong has good built-in routines and helpful exercise descriptions. If you’re a seasoned lifter it does a great job of getting out of your face and letting you program your own workouts, while still providing some helpful tools in smart places. I’ve been using this app for several years now and the devs have done a great job keeping it clean, focused, and up to date with exactly the features I need and nothing I don’t. Buy this app.
  • Deletes regimens

    By Zephyn
Protip: If you want to impress people enough to buy your app, don’t delete the workouts of people trying out the free version. I’d gladly take the paid version of another workout app over this free piece of junk.
  • Weight tracker, not a gym log

    By mlm5303
This isn't a gym log. You can set up and track your routines with weights, but can't track any other fitness data points like distance, time or calories burned, all of which are basic staples in tracking cardio. A proper and complete gym log should be useful across the gym, whether doing strength training or cardio.
  • Frustrating

    By Nappy11お
This used to be my favorite workout app. It worked great on the Apple Watch until it didn't. All of a sudden it would only last a minute before it crashed. I contacted support, but they only told me to wait for an update. Well, I've waited long enough and there has been no update to fix the app. Between the app crashing on the watch and support's inability to fix the problem, I'm on the hunt for an app that actually works as advertised.
  • So far......

So far.... Nice. I’m picky so this is a good review. The app doesn’t take long to learn and it seems well organized. I’ll know better in a week or so.
  • Love the app

But I have a question and didn’t know where to ask. How do I add a drop set?
  • Proprietary environment, weak interoperability among iDevices

    1) Can’t export a workout definition or it’s pinned exercise notes or personal profile info, such as weight history that are created in Strong to a csv file or Notes app or any other app that is normally a sharing target in an iOS app for purposes of backup and sharing with someone outside of the Strong environment. (Backup to Strong Cloud Server doesn’t address this need.) 2) Can’t sync pinned exercise notes (for instance, guidance on technique, equipment, etc that you might want to see every time you do the workout) in a workout definition between iPhone and iPad. 3) Can’t reliably sync between iPhone Strong app and Apple Activity app. 4) Can’t start a workout on Apple Watch and reliably sync it to iPhone Strong app upon completion. 5) Can’t edit exercises created in a previous version of Strong. According to development an upcoming release may address issues 1-4 I do love the ability to create additional exercises, create custom workouts, set warm-up and work set rest timers, create “pinned” notes that appear each time you start the work out as well as notes for a particular instance of a workout, rename a particular instance of a work out, manually set the begin & end date & time for the work out, add an overall work out note, add exercises while a work out is in progress, rearrange the order of the exercises within a workout, see a stacked bar chart of workouts accomplished each week as well as a detailed history tab of workouts and track my measurements in a profile.
  • The best Tracking App Ever 💪

    By davestaysmotivated
Unbelievably impressed on how easy this app is to navigate and also understand upon first opening. As an active Trainer I find it very difficult to track my workouts plus my clients workouts this allows me an ability to build a work out in less than 10 minutes which allows me to more focus on what I need to do for my clients. I am more than happy to pay the fee to keep this app running and also it is way easier to track numbers this way without having to write them down in a book every time you want to track all you have to do is hit the checkmark and complete the work out that you already put in as a predetermined exercise. I want to extend my gratefulness and thanks to this app creator thank you very much and please continue to expand this in anyway you see fit!!!
  • Great App

Great app! Been using it for a couple years now. Suggestion though- make the Rest Timer visible on the phone’s lock screen. Thanks!
