    I found this app to be very user friendly. Many foods are already in the database and it’s easy to add my own recipes. I especially love that I can link it to my Apple Watch to have a more accurate account of my calories.

  • Lost functionality with food “memory”

    Hi, You used to be able to set how many of your most recent food items should be retained for quick search access. It was something like 100, 200, 500, all. Now it’s always all. This makes it very difficult for users like myself that have had this app for years. The quick search brings up way too many results.

    Planned and unplanned Weight loss inn2019 is 55 pounds. I am down from 288 to 233. Lose it has been helpful in meal planning. I am disappointed in the calorie value listings. They are all over the chart. Still I give the app 4 stars.

    Lose it was recommended to me by my doctor In June 2019 .I weighed 190lbs. It is October and now I’m 166! This app gives you a gradual healthy way to reach your goals! I am recommending lose it for any one.

    Lose it takes the guesswork out of losing weight. I have it synchronized to my Apple Watch and it automatically tracks my caloric expenditures. It makes tracking calories extremely easy, as well. You can simply scan the barcode of what you’re eating and as long as you’re honest about serving sizes, it will keep you on track. Unlike other times I’ve tried to lose weight without a calorie counter, I never feel like I’m starving myself. In the past when that happens, I would struggle with eating before bedtime. Now I can know how many calories I have left in my daily budget and eat accordingly so that I don’t over indulge. Now down 7 lbs in just 11 days, I’m well on track to losing the 45 lbs that I set as my goal, and getting there sooner than expected.

    Love the app because it “teaches” you how to budget your intake. I still haven’t found out how to subtract something once it added to a meal then you decide not to eat it. But now I’m not adding my intake until I totally finish a meal/snack.

    I love how easy it is to track everything in one place. I love the scanning option (I use it all the time!). This app has helped me with portion control because I put it in the system first and then decide my portion based off how many calories it ends up being to stay within my limit.
