Infor Mobility for Field Service Cloud Edition is an advanced mobility solution designed to streamline the work of field service technicians. The solution is tightly integrated into Infor M3 CE and can be used in both online mode while connected to a network or in offline mode where connectivity is not available or not permitted. Infor Mobility for Field Service Cloud Edition allows the technician to pick up assignments on their mobile device and then set various statuses throughout the life of the assignment. Checklists can be attached to the assignment and used, for example, as pre-start safety checks. Infor Mobility for Field Service Cloud Edition provides information on spare parts requirements for the job, and in addition, allows parts to be issued from their van stock, requested from the main warehouse, or purchased with delivery options to various locations. The technician’s labor time can be reported along with any miscellaneous costs such as hotels or meal costs. The equipment’s meter readings can be collected and used to reschedule future maintenance on the equipment, as well as to provide the basis for customer billing. A service error report can be created detailing the cause of the equipment problem, and detail how it was repaired. During closure of the assignment, the technician can capture the customer’s signature and comments and sign off on the assignment. Infor Mobility for Field Service Cloud Edition also supports two-way integration to the Infor Document Management solution, allowing electronic messages to be sent to and from the technician’s device (useful in cases such as equipment damage) and automatically transferred back to the Infor M3 ERP solution.
