  • Excellent way to learn a new language

    By keepitinthekitchen
Great tool, easy to use, learning a ton. Will use again for a second language eventually
  • App keeps crashing

    By lizardbreath pantskff
I love the learning method but I’m having an issue with the app: I install it and can listen initially but then when I try to open it again later (after doing other stuff on the phone) it freezes and quits over and over. The only solution I’ve found is to delete and reinstall the app.
  • Difficult to Unsub

    By Beautiful Blond
Buying the program outright is prohibitively costly, and unsubbing is made difficult.
  • The Best

    By Haldy3.0
This is the best resource for practicing conversation and listening that I have come across. The app breaks down the lesson into convenient review formats and quizzes. It makes studying a language easy to do in your spare moments. Highly recommend for those who want to dive deep into a language!
  • Fantastic learning method

I didn’t think that I could leave a difficult language like Finnish now that I’m in my 60’s. My Dad would only teach me a few words but not conversational Finnish. I now hope to converse with my new found family in Finland when I visit next year. I only wish that I had this app when I was studying Italian for my trip to Italy in 1999.
  • Fun!

This is the best and most thorough method to earn a language.no more fear of strange alphabet.
  • The new update

    By thuyh1234567
New update does not work. There is no sound when doing the practice lessons for the day. Please fix. I paid too much money for it not to work.
  • Opening lesson is off

    By Speedog
The opening lesson is intended to teach a man who speaks English to speak to a German woman. Now American men can go to Germany and hassle the local fraulein who probably just want to be left alone. Simon & Shustermiester have done it again. Actually found the intro lesson to be too complicated for my pea sized man brain. Will try another app.
  • Pimsleur German

    By Ultra Goat
Great overall lessons and nicely paced. Because some of the lessons include asking directions to the Post Office and asking to borrow the phone, both of which are no longer necessary really, I gave 4 stars. Otherwise, I would have rated Pimsleur 5 stars.
