    This is by far the best app I have ever purchased. I’ve been trying to meditate on and off for years and I’ve never been able to stick with it. I never really knew if I was doing it right or even meditating at all. Sam talks you through it very nicely and let’s you know, that simply just trying is a positive step in the right direction. It has become easier and easier everyday to meditate and concentrate on what’s happening in the moment. This has really changed my life. I would gladly buy this app for everyone person in my family and all of my close friends. It is such a great tool. I only wish I learned this when I was younger haha. Thank you for your work!!! 👏🏻

    Sam has a talent for expression and the ability to explain the difficult in crystal like clarity. I’ve listened to all his podcasts and read Waking Up. When he announced the app I had it a try and between the meditations and the lessons it is an absolute gem. This is a very personal project for him and it will just continue to grow and get better.     I originally did Headspace for a few years when it first came out. And then I tried Calm for a while. Sam Harris’ Waking Up is on another level. It’s like taking a proper meditation course. He frames things simply and makes meditation accessible. I realized that just focusing on breathing for 15 minutes is only one sliver of what meditation is all about. Well worth the price tag if meditation is something you’d like to actually learn and integrate into your life for years to come.

    I love how Harris guides you into the depths of consciousness. He highlights the importance of what it means to be aware of your thoughts for the well-being of yourself and those around you. Through his lessons, he taught me that it is always okay to ”begin again” which is a principle that I am initiating in not just my practice but in other areas of life.
