Great cloud based app. I love it can go to multiple devices. Editing order of lists is cumbersome but functional. Two settings id like: new items to the top or bottom of the list. IPHONE WIDGET ability. Still a very good app, easy setup syncs from Wunderlist

  • Issues w Microsoft App Developers

I’ve been thinking about transitioning from Apple iCloud based apps to apps that work on all hardware platforms. What I am finding is that iOS has the market cornered on the quality of Apps in its App Store. I’ve also been very turned off by the smaller app developers and their push to subscription based plans and lack. I don’t want a freaking subscription to every app! Plus I find that it’s not really worth it unless the hardware company offers cloud storage, optimized apps and supports them along with its hardware on multiple platforms. App developers have handled the move to iOS 13 poorly. They have been slow to update, switching to subscription models on previously owned apps and only My Lord knows if the app will be updated with the features you want. With companies like Apple, Google and Microsoft you know what you get. I’m afraid of Google because of it privacy policy, but it has solid apps. Apple is apple. Hardware is good, but apps are basic. Microsoft seems to be showing a lot of promise lately, but I think there app developers are poor. I am coming to believe that they intentionally hold back from full iOS integration. If it’s not intentional, then it’s just plan silliness considering their mission and that they no longer have a phone. I’m going to post this on each of the Microsoft apps and hope that it gets someone’s attention. Lol Microsoft Todo: Lacks Share Extension support Can’t email a todo into the app. Isn’t integrated with iOS search which is huge while on the go. Outlook: Took months to get calendar search. Calendar such only works with outlook accounts. (I would move to this app if I could search my calendar) Printing an attachment isn’t always straight forward. I tried to print a word document and had to convert it to pdf. New design is clunky and cluttered. Slow splash page at launch. Phantom updates and fixes. OneNote: Slow splash page at launch. Isn’t integrated with iOS search which is huge while on the go. Just sharing my thoughts. I’m just noticing a lack of consistency across third party apps which keeps me with boring old apple services.

The devs react very fast when there's something to fix. Very nice to use and reliable

... if they let us turn off those highly annoying swipe confirmations. I guess they think that users are too stupid to be allowed to swipe and delete a task without having to confirm that action with a pop-up confirmation window. There’s such a thing as ‘undo’ in iOS, Microsoft, so why don’t you give that a try instead of getting in our way of getting things done. Thanks
  • Best To-Do List App I have Found

I would have to say that overall Microsoft To-Do is a fantastic app and definitely the best to-do list app I have used. They make it very easy for someone with an ever growing and changing list of things that need to be done to organize everything in their life. For example: I have my main tasks listed in the default list but I also have a list for each of the jobs I work, and a group with lists for all of my college classes and their assignments. And the best part is you can view everything that needs to be done today, tomorrow, next week, and later from all of those lists all on one page in the “Planned” tab. This app also works really well across multiple platforms by instantly syncing changes. I use it on my iPhone, iPad, and Windows PC. A main feature I would really love to see added for the versions on iOS and iPadOS is the ability to add Microsoft To-Do to your widgets this way you can see and check things off your list all right from your home screen. My biggest complaint is that whenever you add a task from the “Planned” tab it defaults to being due yesterday??? But overall it’s a to-do list app and I think you would have a really difficult time finding a better one out there.

4.5 stars This app is so very close to what I want in a to do list app! I love the ability to add things to the task list as I think of them without cluttering up today’s to do list. I just wish that things I schedule in advance would automatically populate to the My Day list. I’ve read the justification from Microsoft on why this isn’t the way it’s set up, and I get the idea of making reasonable daily lists, but when I schedule something in advance for a specific day, I need to get it done THAT DAY and I would appreciate it if the app helped me remember that automatically.

This is one of the best apps ever as it organizes my life! I love how you can add backgrounds to each reminder list. As a suggestion, can you make a, Apple Watch app?
  • Can’t share task lists!!!

Extremely annoying. Impossible to share task lists with the only other person in the household. We tried many times on iPhone 11 and the link sent via SMS wouldn’t open the app. It takes you to a To Do website and even after following the login instructions, it wouldn’t share the task list.
