Too much work trying to figure out just a simple sleep app. Every time you click on something it asks you update to a paid subscription. The free app does not keep more than one day of data. Not worth the free download
  • Deep sleep and crashes

I've had the paid version for about 2 weeks. It's never registered deep sleep for me which seems unlikely? In 2 plus weeks I've never reached deep sleep? It also crashes ever morning when I try and turn it off. This has only been happening when I have it turned on for both my phone and watch for the better accuracy.

I am a narcoleptic, so I used this through the free trial to just see how it worked. 5 of the six days I took my meds at bedtime and I slept like a log. Then listened to my snoring that night and laughed at myself. But, According to the app, I never got to deep sleep🤷🏻‍♀️. But I did, that’s the purpose of my meds. The one night I did not take my med, I slept horribly. I was awake a lot, and only two snores recorded. It rated my sleep the best that night. I sleep most of the next. So, Just not certain how it calculates your level of sleepiness.

I read the reviews, got excited and paid for premium membership but right from the start it has bugs. Major bugs. In the morning the screen is still in sleeping mode of the app. No matter how many times I tap and hold, nothing happens. I informed their support and they said they know about the issue - nothing has changed yet. I asked for a refund, they ignored. Didn’t even respond. The sleep recording hasn’t worked for me. I have another app that records if I snore, but this one records nothing. Bottom line, seems like a decent app, but if you want to pay for premium, shop around.

  • App still conflicts with system audio

I’ve downloaded and used this app several times over the past two years. Whenever the app is set for a wake up window it somehow distorts the audio I use to fall asleep by. I’ve tested with iTunes, Apple Music, podcast players, and audiobook players like Hoopla, Overdrive and Chirp. Same problem. Heavy hissing “s” sounds, static and general audio breakup. This app is great in concept but it does not live in a vacuum app-empty environment. The developers do need to evaluate their code to see what’s causing this issue. Note the effect is NOT apparent in their other app I use SleepCycle. That app does not cause audio interference with other apps. Oh yeah and another downvote for the subscription model. I’m tired of subscribing to app ecosystems that eventually go out of business and leave me hanging. I’d rather pay a premium price to own an app. I don’t lease cars or bbq grills either.
  • Paid for Premium, kept crashing

This app never worked. Every time I tried to open it it crashed. Apparently I gave up trying and fortunately I checked iOS Account Settings about another app and discovered that my Premium Sleepzy account was about to renew, so I checked to see if it got fixed and it still crashed, so I was able to cancel the renewal just days before. It would be great if I could get a refund for the Premium account that hasn’t worked for the last year, but since I can’t open the app I can’t contact the developer! It’s possible that the Sleepzy app never worked because I have a couple of step-tracking apps, LifeCoin and Sweatcoin, that aren’t related to sleep but they required that they be left open and running in order to work. That’s the only thing I can imagine that might have kept Sleepzy from working. Still... sort of funky and disappointing.

It’s showing me being sound asleep when actually I didn’t sleep at all that night. How do I contact someone at Sleepzy other than on this review? Thank you for your help.
