  • Yearly/monthly payments are disgusting

I spent 60 minutes going through and filling out everything to the best of my knowledge before reaching the last form. Where I was told I CANT EVEN GET SCHOLARSHIP INFO. The whole point of downloading this app was in order to find targeting scholarships and after wasting my time filling the forms out I have to pay just to see the scholarships I fit? No, bye
  • Lots of expired scholarships

We’ve gone through a lot of scholarships and many are for 2018. Seems like they are not updated as I would like. Also some of these are scholarships for $500 that a million students would apply for. Realistically what are the chances? Pretty slim I think. How about narrowing it down to local scholarships? I don’t think a company in California wants to give a scholarship to someone in Georgia.
  • Bait and switch

Can not get any scholarships without first purchasing a subscription. The app is completely useless otherwise.
  • Repeated scholarships

I had heard about this app and felt like I needed it to assist my son in finding scholarship, the same scholarships that I had already found for him doing searches have been the ones that continue to appear on the app and many of the ones that show have nothing to do with him or he isn’t eligible for them.
  • Lost access

Old: I bought this app a while ago, and I thought I had lifetime access. Now, it’s asking for a yearly fee. ^ it seems my account has been restored. Thank you.

  • Need assistance

I originally purchased Scholl after seeing it on Shark Tank years ago. I originally purchased for a set fee on Google Play. None of my Google information is registering. I need assistance and I was unable to find a support option online or on the app. Unfortunately I have to create this rating to get your attention so that I can get assistance.
  • Pretty Good! Small Issues if Any

I noticed a lot of the reviews were from about a year ago so I thought I’d review the most recent version. I’ve been using it for a few months now and have found it incredibly helpful. The app runs smoothly and I’ve never had any crashes. As for the scholarships, I haven’t won anything but then again, many scholarships take awhile to announce a winner so I’m still waiting on a few. Don’t expect to win and get scholarships awards very quickly. Also, the website said it wouldn’t include any type of “giveaway” or “sweepstake” style scholarships, but I see them on there all the time. Unfortunately, they recently raised the price of their monthly subscription from $2.99 to $4.99. I normally wouldn’t mind, but it would be nice to at least send a courtesy email to subscribers. If you plan to continue using the service, a few other perks like an essay editor and math problem solver are on the Scholly website. I would recommend it to you if you’re going to be dedicated to applying for scholarships and use the other resources, but if not, there are plenty of free scholarship sources instead.
