I love the app features like the community chat and the automatic tracking of my period (bc ive been using this for so long). In fact, I love all the features, however, i wish they would add a feature when you chose the type of birth control u are taking/ practicing (hormonal or non hormonal), and have additional options for ur specific birth control. I also would love them to determine my fertility everytime i log my cerivical mucus (which is everyday) while having a discussion page in the community chat for people who are practicing FAMs (fertility awarness methods) instead of hormonal birth control. But regardless, i love this app and will continue to use it 🥰

I have been on the app for only two days, but I am enjoying it immensely! It’s a great experience, and a way to share you feelings. I have mostly used flo for the chats, but I have heard that their period tracker is really great! The only way that I would improve is to get rid of the premium, if you go on the chats, you can see that a lot of people dislike the premium option because it holds key information, but you had to pay for it.

So I started using flo a few days ago personally just to try but I thought what if I compared it to a another period tracker so I decided why not and compare flo against Femometer and personally I hated everything about it like it kept telling me that my period was late but I was literally on my cycle but Flo on the other hand told how many days I was on and everything it even tracked how much I weighed, how much water I’m consuming, what are my emotions, etc all in all Flo is honestly the best choice and it has other thing you can track.

I have used Flo reliably for years. But the latest iPhone update has broken the app and I can no longer even get it to open. :(

I only needed this to track my periods. $7 a month - no thanks. The new OS does it for free.

I use it to track my period and the symptoms. It’s very accurate, maybe like a day off at the most. I love it all I wanted to know is the window when my period would come and this does it perfectly for me.
  • Doesn’t let you edit ovulation

All in all an OK app, but main barrier with the free app is that it doesn’t let me edit my ovulation dates. Even after taking a ovulation test my dates are still over a week off so it’s basically pointless for me. The main reason I have kept it is that I love that you can add the days of your cycle to the calendar (an option in settings, should be default) and for that reason alone it’s nice to have to refer easily for
  • Perfect, except:

I fell in love with this app because of its simplicity and straight forward calendar. I've already recommended it to friends. However a slight change I recommend is being able to share my calendar with my boyfriend or others!

This app is super helpful from a health monitoring perspective, the prompts are very clear and easy to understand, and the articles and regular check-ins are great. My only problem with this app is that it is very cisnormative. Every time I log my period I come across terms like “other women,” and “girls like you,” etc. It would be great if the app could keep some of its empowering messages toward women, but also include a tab in the community section perhaps, that includes articles that help trans youth handle being on their periods and give information to that regard. There could be a shift from language like “women on their periods” to more gender inclusive language like “people on their periods,” etc. I would say, if you’re trans and constant misgendering is deeply uncomfortable for you, find a different app.
