  • Poor app

    By mark99813
Won’t let me log in or reset password as other reviewers have mentioned. When I used it before it was very susceptible to freezing and crashes.
  • Stuck in subscription / login

    By cristele01
I cannot cancel my subscription nor register as a new customer ; stuck on page subscribe/ sign in, no help available, sign in fails, subscription was canceled supposedly but not really?!? How can I get out of this? I want to either be able to register or just get out ! Dragon needs to review their first time user flow, it’s so frustrating. I want to make sure either my subscription was canceled or be able to pass the sign in page!!
  • Wouldn’t allow me to sign in

    By SaraYorktmh
I tried signing up and signing in however it wouldn’t work. They were willing to take my money but wouldn’t allow me to use the software.
  • Works great when it works

But customer support is lacking, though they try. Nuance should realize that spending hours on the phone trying to resolve login issues due to erroneous “expiration” notices (perhaps due to manner of subscribing) negates the productivity gain the app provides. They should also realize that those calls are only made when there is a problem, usually associated with deadlines or other work stress, and dealing with heavily accented customer support is NOT the way to go. I’ve had service interruption 4x on my monthly subscription in two years. Goodbye!! Try Microsoft Office 365. Very accurate, saves directly in program or app and in One Drive. Needs work with verbal editing commands, but I can edit later and not have to deal with a non-working product on a regular basis.
  • So much potential, yet so little support.

    By Digital Dude
When it works, it’s excellent! I purchased this at the same time that I purchased the new version of Dragon for the Mac v6. Unfortunately, I was never able to get Dragon Anywhere to sync with the desktop version as advertised. Since this was the primary reason I purchased the product. The manufacture customer support was unable to resolve the issue, and after repeated calls and conflicting instructions, I gave up. If you don't plan to buy the desktop software, then I can recommend it The main problem with this product is that the company is lazy when to comes to providing updates. It has so much potential, and I wish Apple would buy the company and fix it. Most of us Mac users know that Siri is dumb as a rock when it comes to voice recognition, and this product could be leveraged to fix that.
  • Paid for 12-month subscription through Nuance and isn’t recognized on App

I was previously using Dragon anywhere and had good success with it. I had to renew my subscription and was not able to do so through the app and went through the Nuance website and logged in through my account to renew it for another 12 months but it has not been able to be recognized on the Dragon anywhere app and is not available and my iTunes subscriptions. I’ve been trying for multiple days to get this resolved through the technical support of Nuance but have not been able to do so. I am very disappointed in the product and service and am still currently working to get a full refund of my money. It is unfortunate that there is not a better dictation solution available for Mac users as Nuance does not support a desktop version for Mac anymore.
  • Superb Dictation/Transcribe App

    By m.elis
I have searched all over the Internet for several dictation app and this has been one of the most useful in the highest quality that I’ve ever tried. This app has changed how I do work completely.
  • Disappointing... poor tech support and customer service.

    By Joseph Heeter
I tried this program in hopes that it would assist in word processing entry. Perhaps my lack of research, but the app only works in its own programming (it doesn’t allow you to use the feature in Word, Notepad or any other area. The word recognition was poor, and I became frustrated with it within an hour and stopped using it. Cancelling the monthly subscription led to more frustration. The website leads you to the order page and the instruction to “manage your subscription” which is not visible on either my IPad or IPhone... a call the tech support, a first line tech and a supervisor, then to a “shop” staff finally allowed Nuance to cancel my subscription... but none of the three could instruct me on how to do so myself. I’ve used Dragon software in the past and had great results, however this version was not usable in my situation.
  • Sad Mac user

    By Susan M. Miller
Periodically, my hands and arms hurt so much that I can’t type. When this happens, Dragon always came to the rescue, allowing me to continue working, while I rested my hands. Then Dragon stopped supporting Mac. All of the other voice recognition software programs out there stink compared to Dragon, so I tried Dragon Anywhere, in hopes of creating a workaround. I figured that I could dictate into my iPad, and then copy to a Word doc and send it to my Mac. (Not ideal, but better than Apple’s native voice recognition software, which, as I noted, stinks.) Unfortunately, this app is no help at all, because it keeps crashing. I would pay a lot of money to have Dragon working on Mac again. With an aging population that will become more and more disabled, it seems like a bad business move for Nuance/Dragon to be abandoning Mac platforms. The best thing about Dragon is that it learns as it goes. Why don’t any other voice recognition software platforms do that? If Nuance doesn’t want to support Dragon for Mac, can they please sell their IP to some other company that wants to make money in this niche market? An aging population of Mac users will need this kind of software to stay engaged. I wish that Nuance would change its mind and start supporting Mac again - or strike a deal with some young entrepreneur to sell the IP that makes Dragon so awesome. By the way, I dictated this using Siri on my iPhone. And it stunk. So many mistakes. Dragon did a better job in the mid 90s, when I first started using it. So, while I offer apologies for the typos, I blame Siri... and Nuance. :(
